Autographed by 9 riders, the Programme for the Mallory Park International Daily Mail 1,000 Guineas Motor Cycle Race of the Year on Sunday 17th September 1967. Signed on the front by 15-times World Champion Giacomo Agostini, inside by 9-times world champion Mike Hailwood, 1967 125c.c. World Champion Bill Ivy, Lance Weil, Ron Chandler, and Dan Shorey, and on the back by Stuart Graham, and by 2-times World Champion Sidecar racer Helmut Fath and his passenger Wolfgang Kalauch. Some details for several individual races have also been filled in with a blue biro. These notes record, for example, that the first prize of £3 for winning Race 2 was claimed by JH Cooper on a 500c.c. Norton. Race 5 (first prize £3) was won by Mike Hailwood, who also won Races 8, 10 and 11. There is a reason why 'Mike the Bike' is still so regarded as a brilliant racer! Race 6 (first prize once again £3) was won by Agostini. The programme itself shows some inevitable signs of handling, for instance it's slightly worn around the edges and at the corners, but overall it's in very good condition, still bright and well-bound.
