A lovely fine set, the bindings square and tight, the contents clean and bright throughout and without stamps or inscriptions. The lightly rubbed slipcase has titles in gilt on the side. A beautifully produced edition of Philip Pullman's fantasy trilogy, with a new preface by the author. 'Northern Lights' won the 1995 Carnegie Medal, 'The Amber Spyglass' was awarded both The Whitbread Book of the Year and Whitbread Prize for best children's book in 2001.
