[10] + 375 pp. 8vo. The Author's Edition has an additional title page from 1871 printed in black and red with a mounted photograph. Publisher's dark-brown morocco stamped in gilt and blind, with King's College insignia on front cover (Coll. Reg. Lond.). Five raised bands to the spine. Title in gilt to panel 2. Yellow end-papers. A prize-giving bookplate from King's College London (from 1896) to the front paste-down. Slight fading to the spine otherwise a VG+ tightly bound copy. All edges gilt. Clean interior. Some light foxing. A nice copy. Scenic Scotland, including lovely images of Loch-Katrine and the Trossachs. Photos generally in very good condition with some foxing.
