A 7-inch vinyl 45 rpm 'doughnut disc' record featuring 'Lady Madonna' and 'The Inner Light', complete with the colour-pictorial outer cover (with the lyrics to the songs in both English and Japanese printed on the inner surfaces) and the inner sleeve. One tiny closed tear to the inner sleeve; both record and cover are in fine condition. The cover is a paper bifolium (174 × 176 mm) wrapped around the inner sleeve. Number 17 in a series of reissues produced to commemorate the 15th anniversary of The Beatles' debut (the catalogue of the first 28 titles in the series, complete with thumbnail illustrations, is printed on the back of the cover). Odeon - EAR-20237. Provenance: the personal collection of David Lovatt, proprietor of Bank Street Records, Adelaide (1985-1994). He purchased the signed item over the counter at Bank Street Records.
