Step2: Mark the Lower Mounting Point Open the lid to the angle that you want topen, please note that the strut does not need to be absolutely vertical when you mark the lower mounting point. The gas strut installation angle is important. Step 3: Adjustment If the lid can not be held up, you can move the upper mounting point 0.79inch towards the hinge on the lid (0.79inch each time).If the lid can not be closed down, you can move the upper mounting point 0.79inch opposite to the hinge on the lid (0.79inch each time) Note: the lower mounting point needs to be adjusted along with the moving of upper point.
