Pale age-browning and foxing to map and plates, with offset to facing pages, music pages have slight pale browning, a few top margins have strip of pale browning, shallow vertical crease to 4 leaves, due to folding plate, 4 small closed tears to margins neatly repaired, nowhere near text, occasional small mark or fox spot but text mostly clean, James Whatman engraved armorial bookplate to each pastedown, small old ink name crossed out at top of title page in Volume 1, otherwise a very good tight handsome set.
