It aims to serve as a useful guide for students of radiation oncology for their practical exams and provides useful answers mostly to the why’s of the various steps of radiotherapy planning, prescribing, evaluation and treatment delivery. The intent of this book is to cover the various indications and techniques for taking a decision on the various practical aspects of radiotherapy planning and delivery and hopes to offer assistance to young radiation oncologists in handling cancer patients. This is a more practice oriented book and does not aim to cover the various sites, types and indications of radiotherapy as a whole.
