This book aims to discuss and present recent developments in the areas of materials, manufacturing, energy and application of AI in the manufacturing technologies, which are smart and sustainable. Manufacturing is the backbone of any economy and the focus in on adoption of sustainable and smart practices to improve quality and productivity. Energy is one crucial sector, which determines the survival of nations. Too much dependence on fossil fuels has caused lot of problems like shortage, pollution, and associated problems like global warming and ozone depletion.
