Fold-out map of the county at front. Text block detached from boards due to complete cracking at both hinges. Gilt edges to textblock. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Heavy cracking to gutters at rear, with some pages detaching. Small tear to map. Endpapers heavily marked. Pages and plates are water stained and warped to margins, but the text is unaffected. Tissue guards imprinted. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing, fraying and tearing to spine ends and edges. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled. Some additional moderate marks and staining.
