Boards with moderate wear and tanning. Slightly more tanning to spine and with light chipping to spine ends. Slight discoloration to boards. Light bumping to two corners. Endpapers browned and with one closed tiny tear to rear endpaper. Browning to tissue guards and with occasional very light foxing to tissue guards only. ; This is the very rare Deluxe Edition, # 243 of 300. [This edition is slightly larger (4to) than the more common edition from the 20 Shilling Series]. SIGNED on copyright page in ink by the famous Dutch artist Nico Jungman. White cloth boards with gilt lettering and gilt/orange/green design of tree. 75 tissue guarded color illustrations from watercolors by Jungman. Inman 238.
