One of an edition of 75 numbered copies using Centaur type on Naturalis paper, and SIGNED by both author and artist; this copy numbered '67'. A further 26 copies were lettered A-Z and housed in a clamshell box; and a further 200 copies were produced unsigned, numbered 76-275. Designed and printed by John Grice of the Evergreen Press. Grey double-folded stitched wrappers with printed label to the front cover, pages double-folded. Narrow Quarto. 11" x 7¼", pp. [8] including one page with a signed copy of a painting by Alison Watt entitled 'Plain', inspired by Armitage's poem and Manet's painting 'The Dead Man'. 'The Bed' was written to commemorate the 100thanniversary of the burial of the Unknown Warrior at his grave in Westminster Abbey inNovember2020.
