Scarce work by prominent British feminist Charlotte Haldane. Lacking the dustjacket, but uncommon in any form or condition, this copy is attractive despite its flaws, which most notably are two: two streaks of white paint runs across the spine, partially concealing the authors name and the title, although both are still visible and legible in slightly faded gilt. The other flaw is that this comes from the home of a tobacco smoker, and although the odor is hardly present, to any highly sensitive person it is worth noting. Otherwise a very decent copy, with some bumping and scuffing at the corners of the paper covered boards. Sturdy and solid binding. Interior is faintly age toned but still quite clean and without marks. Slight bump to the very tips of the corners of the first 20 pages or so, fully diminised following that. Now in mylar, an attractive copy of ths uncommon book.
