Applications & Features:--- Suitable for tapping through or shallow and blind holes. Straight flutes design, downward chip removal, clear threads without burrs, fast thread processing. Hand taps can create new female threads or re-thread damaged or jammed female threads. Used for threading aluminum, mild steel, copper, hard plastic, etc. Hand taps are used by tap wrenches. Taper taps start tapping threads at right angle to workpieces, plug taps is generally used for drilling through holes, and bottom taps create threads at the bottom of holes.--- Alloy tool steel () screw taps have high hardness, high torque, good toughness and wear-resistance, good for general purpose applications. The surface of the tap has a reddish-brown coating, which belongs to the normal processing technology. ( it is not rusty.) Tapping oil is lubrication, cooling and anti-sticking. Add appropriate tapping oil for higher quality internal threads and more durable taps. The tapping depth should not times the diameter (eg: diameter=, maximum tapping depth=). Drill holes with a twist drill before tapping, and the tapping angle should be degrees vertical and stable.Useful Tips:--- The higher the hardness, the slower the speed. Fast speed and low torque; slow speed and high torque. When tapping plastic, add lubricating coolant. For steel, motor oil is generally used, and vegetable oil is used for high requirements. Apply anti-rust oil for maintenance after use to prolong the service life.
