Internal hinges are cracked and binding is lightly shaken mostly in the rear hinge. Previous ownership plate on front paste down endpaper. Previous owner's name and ink stamp on front free endpaper. There is some foxing. A copy with clean interior having no markings, writing, underlining, or highlighting in margins or text block. Robert B. Davidson (1808-1876) was a Presbyterian minister and son of Robert Davidson, the second President of Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. He was also the author of a number of volumes, the largest and best known of which is his History of the Presbyterian Church in Kentucky.
