This small and intriguing photobook collections snapshots by an unnamed French doctor of beachgoers in Cannes during the mid 1950's - some of them perhaps recognizable from celluloid dreams. "These pictures were taken during a rare period of unbelievable tolerance, probably as an anticlimax after the horros of a world conflict. The photographer was a French dotor who worked near the beach in Cannes during the mid 1950's. For the enjoyment of the reader, daytime scenes alternate with furtive nightly meetings. We have deliberately refrained from indicating which characters meet more than once.
