One of 176 deluxe hardcover copies, octavo size, 325 pp. Percy Wyndham Lewis (1882-1957), an artist as well as an author, is known as the developer of "Vorticism" (so named by Ezra Pound), a style of geometric abstraction. With original opaque acetate publisher's jacket. ___CONDITION: Volume fine overall, with clean boards, straight corners without rubbing, a strong, square text block with solid hinges, the interior is clean and bright, and entirely free of prior owner markings; the bottom edge of the boards with slight loss of colour, else fine.
