With woodcut printer's mark on title, two folded woodcut maps and 5 wholes. Woodcut panels. First 2 sheets. including title reinforced with scotch tape in the right margin. Title page with collector's stamp. pp. 1-4 missing, ms. added in the 19th century. Some with old marginalia. Headers renewed, old heads installed. Somewhat browned and occasionally stained due to the paper. Overall, a well-preserved copy with the illustrations. Restored contemporary pigskin with rich scroll and plate stamps with figural centerpieces, monogrammed "IMD" and dated 1579 (heavily rubbed and somewhat soiled).
