Typed Letter Signed by Parker to Llewellyn Howard III. "5/22/79 Dear Louie, Thanks for the potables and talk the other night at the Ritz. Joan and I enjoyed it and were pleased to meet you. As I recall you asked for some sort of vita or whatever. Perhaps the enclosed sheet will do. Should you wish more let me know. I'm glad I made no mention of Tommy John in my piece. Sincerely, Robert B. Parker." The letter is signed "Bob" and not the usual RBP scrawl. Howland was a literary agent and editor who edited "A Book For Boston" which he was meeting Parker about as alluded to in this letter. Also included is a photocoy of Howland's letter in response; a photocopy of Parker's CV; and the galley sheets for Parker's article in "A Book For Boston." The letter is near fine with a paperclip trace on the top edge.
