Seven RPPCs circa 1912 showing the fire disaster and damage to the downtown district of White City, Kansas. White City is about ten miles west of Council Grove and in Morris County, Kansas. Postally unused, though most with inked/penciled notations, and all with the ink stamp of the White City Public Library, on the back. Two cards state that the fire was from the post office west and in 1912, though a separate and much later inked note on paper states the fire to have been from the post office to 2nd Street and occurring on Sept. 30, of 1909. Cards grade about Good, or a little better, showing only very slight wear at corners/edges. Unfortunately, all seven cards have a small strip of clear tape along the very left side.
