Rare original 1834 copy of Crocker s "Fairy Legends and Traditions of the South of Ireland." The book is in overall good+ condition with some minor signs of wear and age. The covers only have some light wear. The binding is good and sound. There is a bookplate to the front pastedown. The title page has a name inscription to the top margin and the bookplate, preface page, and the first page of "The Shefro" chapter all have an old red name stamp which has the appearance of being handwritten. Aside from that, the interior is lightly toned from age but is mostly nice and clean, though there may be the occasional page with a light bit of foxing or grubbiness. There may also be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection, such as a creased page corner, tiny chip or tear, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book measures approximately 6 inches by 4 inches and is 344 pages long.
