"Dear Daniel, Alas #10 hasn't arrived across the border yet; perhaps it's on its way. My stock of stories has been running low - all my energies are being drained into a long crazy novel. On the back Halpern has jotted notes. The #10 Oates refers to is the Sparrow 10 issue with her piece 'A Posthumous Sketch' that months story. The issue is included here also inscribed to Halpern: "For Daniel Halpern - with fondest best wishes, Joyce. *I thought I'd work ahead -" Both items in fine condition.
