The first release in the Seasonal Festival Collection, Roku Gin Sakura Bloom Edition captures the essence of Sakura in bloom, a fleeting phenomenon that transforms Japan into a sea of colour and delicate fragrances each spring.
Lasting only two weeks, Sakura blooms are enjoyed at their peak by millions of Japanese people in a ritual known as Hanami, or ‘flower viewing’. Taking inspiration from the ephemeral beauty of cherry blossoms, this special edition Roku Gin harnesses the brightness and freshness of Sakura to enjoy year-round.
The blossom imparts an elegant floral taste layered with hints of saltiness, underpinned by a delicate blend of botanicals that enhances this Japanese gin’s natural flavours.
To honour Japanese craftsmanship, Japan’s renowned washi artist Eriko Horiki designed the Sakura Bloom Edition label. Hints of pink and metallic tones simulate the falling petals, and the six-sided bottle and embossed botanicals embody the concept of “Shun”: representing the six Japanese botanicals harvested at their seasonal peak to make Roku Gin
