Malossi Overrange CVT Kit Piaggio Zip Complete Overrage CVT kit from Malossi for short Piaggio engines on Malossi is the manufacturer of one of the most powerful CVT kits on the market, the Overrange CVT. Malossi has put together the MHR variator and various other high-end CVT components in one kit to further improve performance and shifting behavior. Advantages of the Malossi Overrange Kit For heavily tuned engines with racing or high-end cylinders from 70cc, an oversize variator system is basically a must. Thanks to the larger pulleys (variator and torque driver), the variator’s adjustment range is greatly increased, which improves acceleration and tuning. Oversize CVT kits (Overrange variator, Overrange torque driver, and Overrange V-belt) have a larger ratio range and are designed for higher loads as well as more power and higher RPM. This means the higher power, especially with the narrow powerbands of tuned engines, is transferred better. Also included are 2 sets of variator weights, a torque spring (purple), shims, bushings, small parts, and a tube of grease.
