Very good. The novel tells the story of Lucian Taylor, beginning with a recollection of his childhood in rural Wales and following him to London where he endures poverty as he attempts to become a writer. The novel was originally published in 1907; a later edition was produced in 1954, and this book is a reprint of the 1954 edition which was published in 1968.
