Though not noted as such, from the library of the poet Gerrit Lansing. There is a brief but beautiful anecdote about a discussion about Machen in Iain Sinclair's book American Smoke. A beautiful set from a writer whose work continues to fascinate and influence with each generation. A near fine set, with some minor dulling to spine and gilt, occasional lifting here and there on the clothe, some light rubbing to spines, and offsetting to each volume at the first blank.
