London: Printed by B. R. Howlett, for Thomas McLean, and Sold by All Booksellers and Printsellers, 1818. 4to. [2pp] + 21pp. 7 hand-coloured, stipple-engraved plates. Contemporary full black straight-grain morocco decoratively tooled with gilt inner dentelles. Moderate spine restoration, particularly at head and tail. Slightly worn, yet charming work featuring colourful vignettes depicting delightful scenes with cherubic figures. William Craig was drawing-master to Princess Charlotte of Wales, miniature-painter to the Duke and Duchess of York, and painter in watercolours to Queen Charlotte. The illustrations in this work were engraved by William Craig and published by Edward Orme, engraver to King George III and the Prince Regent.
