Primary Gears Malossi 15/39 Piaggio After 1998

Malossi HTQ Primary gear 15/38 – Piaggio Malossi HTQ primary gear set, 15/38 ratio, for Piaggio engines from 08/1998 onwards, compatible with all models using 10" wheels (e.g. Zip). A longer gear ratio shifts engine power to where it’s needed most, assuming the engine delivers the extra output. On heavily tuned engines, extended gearing offers a clear advantage. However, such gearing is not suitable for stock setups. Installation Note:The large gear must be pressed onto the original intermediate shaft. This requires special tools and/or a hydraulic press.
