Innovative Mounting – No Cylinder Studs Needed The newly developed Athena race cylinder for Minarelli vertical engines isn’t mounted using standard cylinder studs, but is instead bolted directly to the cylinder base – just like the Stage6 R/T and Malossi "Flanged Mount" cylinders. Since the studs no longer limit the exhaust port width, the exhaust port can be made significantly larger and wider, with the option of adding two additional boost ports. This cylinder has the largest exhaust port of any currently available cylinder for Minarelli vertical engines! Performance Athena 70cc Racing Zylinder The performance of the new Athena Racing 70cc is very impressive, an increase of 3 to 4 hp compared to the previous Racing version is easily possible.For even more power, but above all for optimum cooling, we recommend the use of a Big Valve MXS Racing HighFlow intake system and a PWK carburator with a minimum diameter of 21 mm.
