A bound volume of 12 monthly issues of this uncommon Regency-era magazine for women, spanning January to December, 1818. Featuring articles covering general interest stories, the arts, music, 'society' life and contemporary fashion. Bound in contemporary half-calf with marble paper sides and gold lines across the spine. Extremities of the binding rubbed. Both hinges split along most of their length but with the covers still firmly attached. Spine creased. A moderate water stain affecting the outer edges of all of the portrait plates. Otherwise, a clean copy with bright hand colouring, the text block sound and the binding in reasonably good condition. NB The price of this item is negotiable dependent on your chosen payment method.
