A bound volume of 12 monthly issues of this uncommon Regency-era magazine for women, spanning January to December, 1821. Featuring articles covering general interest stories, the arts, music, 'society' life and contemporary fashion. Bound in contemporary half-calf with marble paper sides and gold lines across the spine. Extremities of the binding rubbed. The front hinge split but with the covers still firmly attached. A moderate water stain affecting the outer edges of all of the portrait plates. Otherwise, a clean copy with bright hand colouring, the text block sound and the binding in good condition.
