FIRST EDITION, first printing. Octavo (25 x 17cm), pp.910; [2]. Publisher's red faux leather binding, gilt titles to spine, top edge stained red, map endpapers. Dust-jacket with wraparound illustration by Terry Oakes, with printed price of £6.95 net to front flap. An excellent, fresh copy. Neat number in red pen to flyleaf. Top edge stain unfaded, other edges very clean with just some slight marking to the foot of the textblock. Dust-jacket shows very well, spine almost imperceptibly sunned, two small surface scuffs to the front panel, lightly bruised to extremities. A great example of a book hard to find in decent condition. Fine.
